Mr. Smith has been licensed as a Texas attorney since 1977.  He is the founder and owner of the law firm.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Smith is a 1977 graduate of the Baylor University School of Law and has been engaged in the private practice of law in Dallas, TX since his graduation. Mr. Smith has served since 2005 as an adjunct professor for Texas Women's University in its Executive Masters in Business Administration graduate degree program where he teaches Business Law and Ethics.
 
Mr. Smith has represented clients in jury trials as lead counsel in Texas State Courts involving the following matters: Personal injury, including wrongful death, due to car crashes, defective products and on-the-job injuries; business matters such as breach of contract, employment disputes, and defective construction cases; consumer cases involving deceptive trade practices; real estate disputes; and defective products.
 
In addition to jury trials, Mr. Smith has equally extensive experience in presenting cases before a Judge, without a jury, and in presenting cases for clients at administrative agencies, before arbitrators, and in mediation.
 
Mr. Smith's goal in private practice has been to provide each client with the best possible resolution to their case in the most cost effective manner available. Mr. Smith's broad based experience in the presentation and resolution of cases in a variety of methods provides his clients with significant viable options for a successful outcome in their case.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Smith was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.  He has been married to Connie, a Dallas Dentist, for over 37 years.  They have 4 children and 2 wonderful daughter-in-laws.
 
He enjoys fishing, golfing, and participating with his sons and other friends for over 25 years in an annual "Mountain Man" backpacking trip.
